Our Process

Booking Your Session
Guests can select a suitable shooting date and complete the reservation on the website, and we will confirm it with a specialist within 36 hours.

Deposit & Questionnaire
Guests are required to pay a 50% deposit within three days and will receive shooting instructions, a questionnaire, and terms and conditions. The remaining balance is due on the day of the shoot. We offer various payment methods for your convenience.
03.
Relax on the Shooting Day
On the day of the shoot, the team will communicate with you about everything from makeup and hair to shooting methods to ensure a smooth process and aim for 100% satisfaction.
04.
Deliver, Select & Share
You'll receive several selected photos the day after the shoot, and the complete JPG photos will be emailed within 20 days. Clients can choose photos for retouching within one month; retouching takes approximately 60 days. If you purchase a photo album or oil painting, an additional 20 days are required. We look forward to seeing you again for your next family portrait or birthday party!

FAQ
Can I bring family or friends?
If you would like to invite more family members/pets to participate in the photoshoot, each additional person will cost an extra $150.
(Relatives other than siblings may influence the baby's photoshoot, potentially resulting in fewer photos.)
Can I ask Chief Photographer Kiu Yip Q?
There will be a specified fee.
Are we going to a studio to take photos?
Yes! Our studio is in Fo Tan, facing the mountains, with plenty of natural light. It's a nearly 2,000-square-foot studio, and it's the place we carefully selected.
Is the makeup and hair time included in the shooting time?
No! They are calculated separately!
What if an accident prevents shooting?
After you pay the deposit, we will reserve your designated shooting date and time. The deposit is non-refundable but can be transferred to others or used for other services offered by our company (the latest price will be deducted from the price when you make a new booking). Available slots without a deposit will be held for 3 days; after that, you will need to check availability again. If you need to change arrangements due to special circumstances, we are happy to discuss a suitable solution with you.
I want to bring a bunny along for the photo shoot.
Pets are family, and we warmly welcome dogs, cats, and bunnies to be in the photos. When shooting at the studio, pets will be counted as people, with an additional charge of $150 per person/pet.
Do I have to pay extra if I reschedule for Saturday or Sunday?
If you need to change the shooting date, please notify us as early as possible: One free rescheduling is allowed if requested 21 days or more before the shooting date; a HK$450 administrative fee will be charged for rescheduling within 21 days; and a HK$850 fee will be charged for rescheduling within 48 hours of the shooting date. An additional HK$450 reservation fee will apply if the booking is for a weekend/public holiday, or if a photographer/makeup artist has been specified.
What if the weather is bad on the official shooting day?
If a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above, or a Red/Black Rainstorm Warning, is in effect on the day of the shoot, guests can reschedule free of charge. If the warning is still in effect before noon, the shoot will be automatically rescheduled; if the warning has been removed before noon, the shoot will proceed as scheduled or rescheduled depending on the actual situation. If guests wish to have the shoot take place as scheduled within 3 hours after the warning is removed, an additional 50% of the package price will be charged for special arrangements.
Will provide baby swimsuits?
Yes, we offer baby size 80 swimsuits.
What are the three styles of Cakesmash Package?
Family style, Cakesmash style, and Baby Bath style.
Does this include clothing for the baby, mother, and father?
We will provide baby clothes, and we also suggest preparing a family outfit. Our studio also provides clothes for mothers and T-shirts for fathers.
Besides size 80, are there any larger sizes available?
We recommend that guests bring their own oversized clothing, or they can come to try it on. Being prepared ensures that everything is ready and creates the perfect shooting experience!
Retouching includes body shaping and skin smoothing for both mother and father.
Yes, basic slimming and skin-beautifying adjustments are limited to mothers and fathers; they cannot adjust clothes, hair, or facial expressions.
What if the baby cries or needs to be fed during the photoshoot?
Don't worry, there's usually enough time for the photoshoot. To ensure a smooth shoot, we recommend your baby come when they're well-rested and fed to minimize interruptions due to crying or needing to sleep. It's perfectly normal for your baby to need breastfeeding or comforting during the shoot! Breastfeeding and changing clothes are included in the service time. If the schedule allows, extra shooting time can be provided (HKD 450 per 30 minutes).
With years of experience, we understand that a baby's mood can be unpredictable, so just relax and come on the day of the shoot. Our photographers are highly experienced, shooting thousands of babies a year, and we generally don't need extra time; in fact, too long a shoot can be exhausting for the baby.
Won't it be too cold to film water activities in winter?
🌟Dear guests, no worries about the winter photo shoot and summer water fun! PhotoOne Studio has heaters and warm water (approximately 38°C, close to a baby's body temperature) throughout the entire process, ensuring you and your baby feel warm and pampered ❄️💖!
In the past few winters, babies have enjoyed a spa-like experience, soaking in warm water! 🛁✨ It's as comfortable and relaxing as taking a bath at home! The water play portion of the photo shoot only takes about 10 minutes, making it incredibly easy! 😄
A hairdryer will also be available on-site so your baby can dry their hair immediately! 💨✨ However, their hair may not necessarily get wet during the photo shoot, so don't worry! 😊
